GB/T 28952-2018 Forest certification in China — Chain of custody

        The purpose of carrying out the chain of custody certification is to trace the source of raw materials of forest products, reduce the risk of using raw materials from disputed sources, and provide consumers with clear proof of the source of raw materials for products. The Chain of Custody certification standard is the basis for the country to carry out Chain of Custody certification.
        In order to meet the needs of the development of the country''s forest certification work, it is further coordinated with the Chain of Custody of Forest Based Products-Requirements (Chain of Custody of Forest Based Products-Requirements) of the international forest certification system PEFC to promote the use of raw materials and products derived from sustainable forest management. Demand and supply, it is necessary to revise GB/T 28952-2012.
